Thomas Miller is a Juggler, Director, and Theatre Artist based in Philadelphia, PA.
He infuses juggling with thespianry in an attempt to identify the world's contradictions. In a world saturated by hatred, delusion, and greed, live performance offers hope. Empathy, compassion, reflection, and transformation provide order to the chaos of the universe. Nimble hands are the satellites with which Thomas explores the creative cosmos. Large questions require many minds! Thankfully circus is proof that, together, we can make something greater than the sum of its parts.
I'm Thomas!
I make one person, circus-theatre shows that explore the relationships and intersections between things you’d never think of putting together in the first place.
Such as:
Juggling and Sourdough Bread,
Juggling and Art History,
Juggling and Emily Dickinson,
Me and Not-Talking-about-Juggling… while Juggling!
I live to entertain, educate, and communicate. In college, I fell in love with juggling and dance by means of circus. After making my professional debut in 2019's BOHEMIA! at Muhlenberg College. I realized that making circus art would be a necessity of my life. I had a taste, but I wanted more. I just needed to keep practicing! I needed to keep making better and better work! I needed to be a physical artist! In June of 2024, I graduated from Circadium School of Contemporary Circus. I perform for theatres, schools, community centers, public forums, and anyone who would like to watch.
